TOUR OF THE SPINDRIFT

ESTHER MITCHELL

Writer Esther Mitchell who partnered her husband Bob Mitchell in authoring several Land of the Giants stories passed away on 30th May 2012, just a day before her 92nd birthday. We met Bob and Esther in 1991 and they were a wonderful couple who were very proud of their association with the Irwin Allen productions. They graciously agreed to chat with fans by phone during a party held at Giants Log in 1992, just months before Bob died. One of their favourite episodes was The Night of Thrombeldinbar.
